Terms of Use for AUR+A

Welcome to AUR+A, the world's first Augmented Reality (AR) networking and face recognition app for discovering founders, investors, and professionals nearby.

These Terms of Use govern your access and use of AUR+A’s application and services (“Services”).

By using AUR+A, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

To use AUR+A, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.

• Agree to comply with all applicable laws and these Terms.

• Not use AUR+A if you are prohibited by your country’s laws.

2. User Accounts

You may need to create an account and provide personal information (including a profile photo and biometric data). You:

• Are responsible for keeping your login details confidential.

• Agree that all information you provide is accurate and current.

• Must not impersonate another individual or create fake profiles.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse, reverse engineer, hack, or interfere with the app or its AR/face recognition systems.

• Use AUR+A to harass, exploit, or harm others.

• Scrape, harvest, or misuse any content or data from other users.

• Violate the privacy of others or upload inappropriate content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Biometric & Public Data Use

• By using the app, you consent to the use of facial recognition for in-app identification and AR display.

• Biometric data is stored securely and deleted after 2 years of inactivity.

• We also include publicly available data of investors from public online sources. If you are included and wish to be removed, you can download the app or write to us here.

5. Intellectual Property

• AUR+A and its technology (AR features, face recognition, designs, etc.) are owned by us and protected under intellectual property laws.

• You may not copy, distribute, or misuse our code, designs, or branding without written permission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

We provide the app “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Continuous or error-free access,

• That the app will meet your expectations,

• That users or data will be verified or accurate.

Use at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,

• Any interactions or agreements made between users through the app,

• Any decisions made using AUR+A’s information.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which AUR+A is ultimately registered. Until then, we operate under general principles of international privacy and consumer protection law. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts based on our legal domicile once established.
